Greta Branxton Football Club functions on volunteers to make the club function well.
The canteen is one spot we do rely on all club members to help for aprox 2 hours each over the season per player.
We provide a great canteen that is well known around the area for its great menu options for all including great burgers, bacon & egg rolls and barista coffees.
Funds raised from the canteen go towards many things such as team training kits, presentation days and improving our facilities.
The club teams roster is attached. Your manager will allocate you a team slot to come in and help for a couple of hours.
Most parent do enjoy canteen more than they expect and find it great to be in there, getting to know their own team members well. It’s not as over whelming as you may think!
We try and allocate everyone with a job they are happy with. For eg some would prefer cooking the BBQ or cooking chips, packing lollies, stacking drink fridges, while others would prefer to serve customers at the counter or sweep out a change room.
Rounds that are washed out will automatically move to whatever the games reschedule date becomes.
We hope you will all chip in and help as requested as the committee all put in hundreds of hours over the season for you all to play football. This is one way you can help repay back and help a little
