Miller Park Lighting Upgrade

22 Sep by Lauren fairfull

We’ve worked hard and had Miller Park Lighting upgrade completed with just a few tweaks still needed.
A NSW Government sporting grant provided $150,000 for the upgrade with the remaining value being contributed by Greta Branxton Football Club.
Utilising club funds back into our home facility, so as club members have the ability to train more with space on their own size fields for many years is crucial for every players experience with us.
Better quality lights also give competition teams a better playing experience under decent lights.
Miller Park is also now a safer environment with all areas brightly lit including surrounding bushland and car parking
Tonight at 5.30pm, prior to Over 30s women’s Grand finals kick off we have an official opening of the lights with Clayton Barr MP, NorthernNSW Football & Cessnock City Councillors.
The event will consist of a few small speeches and an official turning on of the lights for Grand Final Kick offs begin at 6pm.
We welcome and of our Wildcats to head down for this event and for our Women’s Grand Final at 8pm.
