Wildcats recap of 2025:
GBFC, the second largest club in Hunter Valley with 650+ players with 60 teams including more female teams than ever before !
A season that everyone had to be flexible and juggle plans with all the rain.

Under 12-1, 12-3, 13 & All Age Fri-1 mens made it to the finals with U12-1s heading into the Grand Final.
Women Over 30s- A Grade - Major & Minor Premiers
Zone League 3 Mens - Major & Minor Premiers, Club Champions, Promoted to zone league 2
as well as coach & technical director Mick Gatt awarded coach of the year.

Club Improvements continue at Miller Park with new lighting upgrades for games & training space with many more plans to come.

We hope you have enjoyed your season and we hope to have you back playing with us in 2026.

The Committee would love your help to make 2026 bigger and better again! With continued growth we need a growing committee to maintain a great club.

As our club is growing and offering a vast amount of programs & improvements, we need more volunteers than ever before to keep the club running well.

Most of our committee are in need of help or a break and would love new faces stepping up.

Not only do we welcome members to take up positions, but also those who are not so sure about taking on a role and would just like to be involved by coming to meetings is also appreciated- there will be no pressure!

As per our constitution, Nominations to be handed in prior to AGM to the club secretary:

• If the number of nominations equals the number of vacancies to be filled, the person nominated shall be deemed to be elected.

• If insufficient nominations are received to fill a vacancy, candidates can be nominated at the AGM.

• If the number of nominations exceeds the vacancies to be filled, a ballot will be held at the AGM.

Any Notice of Motion for a special resolution (2nd by another Member Club) is required to be received by our by the secretary no later than 5:00pm, Monday 10th November 2025.

Check with the secretary if you are considering putting in for a position and unsure of varying role/ job descriptions for further details.
